​Here at Northumbria University, we are always working to improve the sustainability of our events. Venues at Northumbria was awarded the Green Tourism Gold Award in 2021, and with limited parking on campus we recommend that you make the most of Newcastle’s fantastic Transport links. So why not arrive in style but national or local, bus, train & Metro links.
Our Green Story
Over the past year, we have worked hard to gather information about the sustainable policies and practices we have here on campus. After submitting our Green Check Assessment for the Gold Tourism Award, we ere able to achieve Gold!

One of the vital parts of promoting greener events is to encourage more sustainable forms of transport and luckily enough Newcastle has tons of great options, whether you're travelling from far or near!
