Newcastle is a very compact city so getting around is easy! It has one of the best integrated transport systems in the country, centred upon the Metro system.

Whether you're looking to travel within the city centre or branch out towards, the Coast, Gateshead or Sunderland, the metro has a range of ticket prices and passes for your next visit to Newcastle.

Northumbria University by Metro

Manors

3-5 minute walk

As a great option from the station, Manors metro station is just a few minutes walk from our Buisnes sand Law Building at CCE (City Campus East).

Just take a right our the exit, walk up the ramp/stairs, cross at the lights and you'll see the iconic CCE buildings ahead. 

Monument 

7 minute walk

Another great option from Central Station, just exit through the Northumberland Road exit and head north towards Haymarket. Here you'll discover Newcastle's shopping High Street and at the corner by WHSmith, take a right and head straight until you reach the CIS Building at Northumbria University. 

Haymarket

3-5 minutes

A great option for those travelling from the Coast. Make sure to take a right out of the main entrance on Northumberland Road and head fro St. Mary's place. Walk along Sandyford Road, past Greggs and Costa and you'll the University Library ahead. ​
