Newcastle Central Station
As a major stop on the efficient East Coast Mainline, Newcastle is just 2 hours 45 minutes from central London and 1 hour 30 minutes from Edinburgh and Leeds.
Newcastle’s Central Station is located in the heart of the city centre and has its own Metro Station. Further information regarding travelling by rail can be obtained from the National Rail website.
From Central Station to Northumbria University

Get on at ‘Central Station’ travelling towards ‘St James via Whitley Bay’ for one stop and change at ‘Monument’. When you change at the Monument you must take the stairs or lift up to Platform 3. the board any train travelling to ‘South Shields via Whitley Bay’. Exit the train at Manors and walk to Northumbria University,

From bus stop H on Clayton Street, take the number 62 bus to New Bridge Street.
