As an academic venue, we are very fortunate to benefit from the fantastic green infrastructure in place across all of our venues as part of Northumbria University's contribution to the UN SDGs.
Northumbria University was recently ranked in the top 50 for the Times Higher Education Impact Awards, and we are excited to share with you how this can apply to conferences and events. We want you to know the environmentally-conscious efforts by the University will transfer to your next event and, to ensure everything is up to industry standard, we are applying for the Green Tourism Award.
Join us every week for the 'Our Green Story' series on Twitter, Instagram & Linked In to follow our journey to developing high quality, sustainable events.
To kick things off, we are revealing how our catering partners, Chartwells, are serving your delegates with ethically and locally sourced menus and plenty of alternatives for allergies, plant-based diets and special requirements.
